The Napa Valley Backroads Winery Experience is an association of small production artisan wineries located in the eastern hills between Rutherford and St. Helena. Our member wineries; Nichelini and RustRidge, produce an array of wines from Cabernet Sauvignon to Sauvignon Vert, from claret-style Zinfandels to late harvest Sauvignon Blanc. We are family owned and operated wineries growing our own fruit and producing wines that showcase the quality of our appellation—the Chiles Valley.

Chiles Valley is a beautiful high-elevation valley that runs parallel to the eastern side of the Napa Valley. Because of its remote and rugged location, the historic Chiles Valley has been spared from development and commercialization. It offers the wine connoisseur and adventurer an opportunity to step back in time and visit the Napa Valley of yesteryear. All this awaits a scant fifteen-minute drive from the Silverado Trail.
